Our first hike of the trip, Sentinel Dome is a short hike with some good elevation gain to the top of a dome with a great view.  Clouds put the valley into perspective and at times gave us only a glimpse of El Capitan.  Marcy didn’t make the last bit of the climb but stayed and pondered the beauty of the park and kept cooking Noodle!  On top we saw the “Brain” log and Lily ate lunch.
